A stakeholder is anybody who can affect or influenced by any strategy, project and business. Stakeholder can be external or internal and they can be at senior and junior levels. The government of Australia has allocated the $54 million to start the National Youth Mental Health Foundation and later it is named as Headspace. The current report draws the stakeholder map and identifies the stakeholder group. The study applies the stakeholder analysis for the information system and defines the functional requirements in organization.

Stakeholder map

Stakeholder map is the management tool that identifies the stakeholders in particular project of the organization and their interest. The tool classifies the role of individual stakeholder in project. The roles and names on a stakeholder map with 4 quadrants:

Internal operations:Internal operation’s role performed by the employees in the organization like nurse, doctors, supervisor etc. This kind of stakeholders is main element in whole working procedure of organization and helps the management to achieve the success.

Internal executive:The internal executive stakeholders are those who deal with the external operations of organization and try to maintain the flow of work (Reed & Curzon, 2015). The internal executive stakeholders are project manager, senior executive employees etc.

External operation:This kind of stakeholders performs different the functions outside the organization and maintain the rules and regulations of organization. The external operations stakeholders are customers, testers, outsourced call center staff etc.

External executive: External executive stakeholders are those who work outside the boundaries of health and social care organization (Tiller, 2014). The example of external executive stakeholder is invertors, government, legacy system etc.

Interest of stake holders in Project

Stakeholders related to the project have different interest towards the project that helps the management to achieve the organizational goal. All the stakeholders have one motive to gain positive outcome from the efforts in project. For instance Australian government has invested $54 million to establish National Youth Mental Health Foundation with the aim of social welfare. Following stakeholders have interest in the project:

Top management: The upper management has interest to expand the business and earn more profits (Beringer.et.al.2013). Top management includes vice-president, directors, division managers etc. The main role of this kind of stake holders is to design the strategy and development of organization.

Project team: The project team is made up of those people dedicated to the project or borrowed on a part time basis. Project team has to maintain the coordination among the peers and that would help the manager to achieve the goals. The team includes doctors, nurses, care takers etc.

Customers: Customers are the buyer of services and products served by the organization. The main interest of the customers is to get the desired services from National Youth Mental Health Foundation. For example organization has aim to address the health and wellbeing concerns of young people by providing a holistic platform of care to the patients.

Government: Another stakeholder is government that has interest that organization should maintain the services as per the government rules and regulation (Bourne, 2016). For example organization is establishing the health care institute for the development of youngsters in order to build the hospital project manager has to take the permission from municipal commission, government etc.

Questionnaire

Answers of the questionnaire will be given by different stakeholders. The answers will help the project manager to achieve the goals and also reflect the problems they are facing by the services provided by the organization. The targeted stakeholders are employees, customers, government employees etc.

Purpose of questionnaire

The main aim of the questionnaire is to identify the perception of the different stake holder attached with the project. The questionnaire will help the project manager to evaluate the business environment and also help to assess the internal and external environment at work place. Questionnaires collect the opinion of different person regarding project and show the drawbacks of project. With the help of questionnaire manager can easily complete the task with less mistakes. The opinion of different person assists the manager to identify the strategy person and make the plan according to the requirement of customers.

Stakeholder analysis by UML diagram

Figure 2 UML diagram

The case model explains the relation of stakeholder with organization and also provides the information related to their task at work place by which a manager can easily identify their role at work place. UML stands for Unified Modeling Language that is used in object oriented software engineering. The case diagram gives full explanation about the role of doctor in the organization and also identifies the link between the doctor and National Youth Mental Health Foundation (Abomhara & Lazrag, 2016). UML case diagram are usually referred to as behviour diagram used to describe the set of cases that some system or systems. All the case which is represented by the UML diagram provides some observable and valuable result to the user thus they are able to get better outcome from the diagram. The upper case describes the valuable relation of stakeholder with organization. The UML case diagram represents the business case that helps the organization to identify the importance of stake holder in organization. The case helps the management to identify the external and internal requirement and try to get them for successful completion of case diagram process. The functionality offered by a subject and also identifies the requirements and particular subject’s poses on its environment that should interact with the subject so that it will be easy to perform the services.

The business use case is initiated in Rational Unified Process to represent business process, activity and functions in the modeled organization. The major element of the business use case diagram must be fulfilled to generate better outcome from whole process. Different types of UML diagram are available are class, deployment, object, profile, composite structure, activity, sequence, state machine diagram (Lucas.et.al.2013). The diagram also helps the manager to identify the various things about the stakeholders thus the role of stakeholders can be identified.

Stake holder analysis

Stakeholder analysis is the key part of stakeholder management that helps the organization to identify the importance of each stakeholder at work place. A stakeholder analysis helps the organization to design the strategy for the business to retain the stake holders with the organization. It also helps the National Youth Mental Health Foundation to identify the core stakeholders for the business like employees, customers, investors etc.

Requirement gathering technique

Brainstorming and survey method is the two effective methods that help the organization to collect the relevant data. Survey helps the manager to identify the perception of different person in the organization and market (ur Rehman.et.al.2013). The selected member in the organization and market are covered under this technique.

Functional requirement

It is most important part for the organization to identify the requirement of the stakeholders in the organization. The manager has to float the responsibility in proper manner thus it is easy for the management to maintain the flow of work in organization and manage the resources properly (Mier.et.al.2015). Performance and accuracy in data and source utilization is the main requirement to maintain the number of clients. The functional requirements of the organization are proper health records, employee and client records, medical record of the client’s treatment etc. Automatic data collection is another need of functional requirement.

Conclusion

The current study identifies the need of stake holders in organization and selects the methods to retain the stake holders with organization. The report use the UML diagram identifies the relation of stakeholders with National Youth Mental Health Foundation. The report also identifies the functional requirement of organization to present the diagram.
