1.2. Project Overview

Tickets are purchased from the gates of the RALS which gets significant delays on the opening days. When the crowd is more, the selling process of tickets is slow which causes the crowd passes the gate without tickets. During peak hours, it is difficult to check the tickets from every visitor and some of them pass without any ticket. To improve this process of ticketing and to maximize the sales, the decision is taken to outsource the development of the new system of ticket sale.

1.3. Motive of the Project

The motive of project is to develop a computer based ticketing system in order to replace the current manual system. The online ticketing system will help in managing the delays that occurs on the opening days and also increases the process of sales. The online ticketing based system will able to access the ticket sale through any online platform such as mobile devices and computers so as to make the availability of tickets before event. Tickets are digitally enabled so as to make easy access in entering the show through gate. The scanning of digitally enabled tickets will help in gathering the reports generated by the system. Some locations are to be fixed in the town for ticket purchase for those who have not suitable device to purchase the tickets. This will reduce the queue generated for the show.
