Question 3: Create a set of wireframes for the control panel design
The design contains all components on the screens, breadcrumbs, buttons that are linked all screens and navigate the users. The prepare design is based on the heuristic usability principle and we also design the help function and in this report, we will describe all the screens of the designs with shows the links. Now, we discuss all the prepared screen of selected design:
Home Page Screen
This is the first screen of my design application, where the user can go through with about us page without login by clicking on the vertical symbol that is designed in right of the screen. To use other functions of the application user must login and if the user has no account in the application then he or should create an account by clicking on the sign-up button. The homepage contains various functionalities which are given in this figure such as login, sign up, back, search, help, vertical library of various different pages, pay toll option, and the user can also use the calculator to calculate the toll amount.
Ellipse vertical menu Screen
This is the second screen of the designed application, which is open by clicking on the vertical library function on the home page. By clicking in the vertical ellipse user can view the three more pages without login in the application. This library contains the about us page, a setting screen, and version number of the application. When the user clicks on the about us option the next screen is opened that is about us screen. When the user clicks on the setting option the next screen is opened that is setting screen. The setting screen contains various features and it also contains the version number of eth application.
About us Screen
When the user clicks on the about us option from the designed library on screen 2, the about us screen is opened that is given in figure. The about us page is containing the information about the application, back button, search function, help function, home option to go home again, and ok button to confirm the application that you have seen them about the screen and it also contains the chat option below the details. With this chat option, the user can chat and resolve their queries.
The setting screen is displayed when the user clicks on the setting option from the vertical ellipse scree options. The setting screen contains various features such as volume, font size, add vehicle, clear cache, delete usage, notification, version, back button, search option, help option, breadcrumbs that contain the home, log in, setting and is also contain the next page option.
Help and search screen
When the user clicks on the search and help option the help and search screen is open that is fulfil the usability principle of the heuristic model. The Help Screen contains various fields that should be filled by the user who has any query. The screen contains fields are a name, Email id, Contact number, Comment or feedback or query. After completing all the details user can click on the submit button.
Forgot password Screen
At the time of login the user forgot the password then they can use the reset password functionality. To reset the password user must click on the reset or forget button that is given the password filed on the login screen. After clicking on it the new screen is opened to reset the password that is given below in the figure.
To access the application, the user must login in the application. After the login user can access the application functionalities that are designed. To log in, the application user must enter his username, password and click on the login button. This screen also contains a cancel button to cancel the user login.
Sign UP Screen
If the user has not registered in the application, then user click on sign up button to create the account. The sign-up screen contains various fields such as full name, last name, Email, Mobile number, enter a password, re-enter the password and then click on the create account button. If the user has an account on the Facebook and Twitter that he can connect with this by clicking the Facebook and twitter button. This screen also contains the search, help, back buttons.
Total Amount Calculator
The total amount screen is open by clicking on the total amount calculator which is designed on the home screen. The total amount screen contains several fields such as start point, end point, date, approx. distance and then click on the calculate button. After click on calculate button, it shows the calculation in the table that is given in the given figure.
After login or sign up the confirmation screen
When the user completes the login process, the main menu screen or confirmation screen is opened that is shows in given figure. This screen contains various features or functionalities such as add vehicle, trip history, add e-tag, cancel e-tag, payment history, Cashback and toll notice.
Payment history Screen
To check the payment history, the user can click on the payment history option from the Min menu or confirmation screen. After selecting the option the payment history screen is opened that is given below. To check the payment history user must insert the date of journey or payment and registration number of vehicle and click on the history button. After clicking the button the payment history of past months is shown in the table and also shows the graph.
Apply for E tag Screen
After clicking on the apply e-tag option form the main menu screen the apply e-tag screen is opened that is given below. To apply the E-tag, the user must fill the toll number, tags, registration number, balance, address, and date. After filling the complete information user should click on the submit button.
Cancel for E-tag Screen
After clicking on the cancel for e-tag option form the main menu screen the cancel for e-tag screen is opened that is given below. To cancel for the E-tag, the user must fill the date, registration number, reason for cancellation and insert the password. After filling the complete information user should click on the submit button.
After clicking on the cash back option form the main menu screen the cash back screen is opened that is given below. For cash back, the user must fill the date, registration number, toll road, offer and scratch the given code. After filling the complete information user should click on the apply button.
Toll Notice Screen
If the user wants to check the toll notice then he should to go to the confirmation or main menu screen and select the toll notice option. After selecting this option the toll notice screen is opened that is shown by the figure. To get the toll notice he or she should fill the date of journey and registration number and click on the ok button. The toll notice is displayed successfully.
Trip History Screen
If the user wants to check the trip history than he or she should select the trip history option form the main screen of the application that contains various features such add a vehicle, trip history, and others. Select the trip history option, the trip history screen is opened. To check the trip history, the user can insert the date, registration number of the vehicle and click on the email report and after that, the report of trip history is successfully emailed at your registered id.
E-mail Successful Screen
After completing the trip history and getting the history of the trip via email the application shows a confirmation message like “Your report is successfully sent on your registered id” on the screen which is given below:
Add Vehicle Screen
If the user wants to add or update the vehicle that he or she should select the added vehicle option form the main screen of the application that contains various features such add a vehicle, and others. Select the add vehicle option, the add vehicle screen is opened. The add vehicle screen contains various fields such as vehicle name, tool id, registration number, vehicle type, model name, parking type and clicks on the submit button after filling all the details. The add vehicle screen is given below:
If the user has any queries or he wants to chat to resolve the problems or queries then he should click on the chat option which is designed on every screen of the application. after clicking n the chat option the chat screen is open and the user can chat and resolve the queries.
Google Account Screen
If the user wants to connect eh application his Google account he should enter his email id and password on the open screen which given below.
At the time of account creation, if the user wants to connect the application with his Facebook account then he should select the Facebook option that is given on the sign-up screen of the design. After selecting the Facebook option the account is connected and the twitter screen or account is open. To connect successfully user must log in the Facebook account by inserting his user id or name and password.
At the time of account creation, if the user wants to connect the application with his twitter id then he should select the twitter option that is given on the sign-up screen of the design. After selecting the twitter option the account is connected and the twitter screen or account is open. To connect successfully user must log in the twitter account by inserting his user id or name and password.
If the user wants to log out the application then he or she should click on the logout option. By clicking on the logout option the screen is open that is shown in given figure. The logout screen contains a logout button; by click on the log out the application will be log out successfully.
