Introduction:

Maintaining the sustainability of any workplace is becoming the major need to gain significant popularity, more profit margins and better performance of the employees. Here in this assignment part, the environmental sustainability policies of the Sydney opera house are highlighted. With this, the major aim is to develop an implementation and monitoring plan for the house regarding the sustainability and make people and the staff aware of the policies that will be beneficial for all in the future. This part of the assignment is further divided into two sections, first shows the implementation and monitoring plans while the second is the presentation about the training session for the employees so that improvement in the efficiency of the resources can be attained.

 

Part A

Review of the Sydney opera house

This is a world heritage site and seen as the masterpiece made by the humans of Australia. It is the most popular destination in the country, it organizes around 2000 performances every year and serves around 8 million people in a year. By the Deloitte, it has been estimated that the value of the site is $4.6 billion.

  • Mission – this is divided into two fields; to inspire and strengthen the community and to make the house a treasure for future generations, artists and common audience.
  • Vision – to be bold and inspiring as the house itself.
  • Goles – the goals of the house is to make every task with the support of the stakeholders, renew the building and make it the best site in the world, promote the arts and capabilities of the people, enhance the visitor experiences and finally increase the business and its agility.
  • Policies – the house has many policies for the ethical working. Some of the policies are Access to Information, Artworks management, Asset management, Surveillance, Child Protection, Code of Conduct, Community Donations, Environment Sustainability 2017-19 etc.

The house is majorly focused now on effective management processes that can help in attaining the environmental sustainability.

After completion of this section of the assignment, it can be said that the Sydney Opera House is a very famous destination of the country and the world. The motive to enhance the environmental sustainability inside the house and in the community also is very effective. In the implementation plan, the various factors and fields are covered that can help in sustainability. Moreover, monitoring strategies are described with the person who is responsible for the accountability.
