According to Nowduri (2010), The Nigel Taylor bought the veterinary practice from its owner, who starts its work as a young graduate. Nigel wanted to improve its business and add new wings to the practice. In order to do practice more efficient Nigel has to construct more consultation rooms, grooming area for pets and training school for a young pet. The purpose of this report is to develop the understanding of information system for the business professional. In the case study, Nigel wanted to develop the automated system in its organisation such as recording the records related to pet, staffs, payroll, and about the meetings of staff. This report includes the importance of information system in the Springfield Animal Hospital. The SAH may face hurdle and barrier in order to implement the information system for the automation of the activity in the hospitals. The findings of the report are that the information system is very important for the business in order to expand the business and it is necessary to manage the interest of the stakeholders like customer’s employees. It is important to communicate and share information with all stakeholders and must fulfil their expectations. The following are the questions which describe the importance of information system for the business professionals (Shipsey, 2010).

There is a positive impact related to the information system which affects the business positively. It is necessary to develop the information system in the hospital as it helps in achieving excellence in the work and develop the relationship with customers and suppliers. It is important for the business as it helps in sustaining in the market and gain a competitive advantage against the customers. The SAH has to adopt the DBMS system in the hospital to resolve the issue of security and needs to provide training to the staff in order to increase productivity.
