Introduction

The following paper will look to focus on the issue of the management failures in the real life situations. The management of the organizations is liable for maintaining a proper approach for maintaining the smooth operations. The managers are always responsible for keeping the operational management agent emand smooth (Bucherer, Eisert & Gassmann, 2012). This will surely increase the efficiency and sincerity of the organizations in the best ways. However, the real life situations would be described in this paper to analyze the difficulties the managers would have to deal with the problems properly. The problem would be defined and the probable solutions would be outlined in this paper as well.

The Story

The series of the events within the spheres of the organization would be discussed in this section. As this paper deals with the real life situations, I would like to share my thoughts about my experiences in this matter (Goetsch & Davis, 2014). I will shed my opinion on the importance of the innovation process within the organization and the reasons why the process could not be implemented properly. The leadership had been the major issue in the situation I am talking about (Stacey, 2012). I worked as the member of the operations team in my previous organization. My role was to supervise the events that went on within the organization. I had to see to the production of the members, the reasons why they were not being able to perform as expected from them and the communication between all the departments of the organization (Bucherer, Eisert & Gassmann, 2012).

My role also was to determine the ways the organization could move forward and earn more profits. The product and service delivery of the organization was the process that I had to pay the most attention on. This is why I had to make the proper decisions and circulate them among all the members of the organization. In this scenario, I had to communicate with all the members and know about their limits. The strengths and weaknesses of the employees were of primary importance for me (Volberda et al., 2013). Furthermore, I had to focus my attention on applying the innovation process within the organization. I knew this would have a positive impact on the organization in the best manner. I was given the duty of bringing the change within the organization to innovate the new processes for the betterment. The organizational change had to be implemented properly so I could begin to make the proper arrangements for the business expansion of the organization (Tohidi & Jabbari, 2012).

Where things went wrong

As I was trying to implement the innovation process within my organization I faced several problems. I saw that most of the employees were not much enthusiastic about the change in the innovation process that I was trying to bring in. For that reason, their reluctance was growing stronger indeed (Denti & Hemlin, 2012). I needed the cooperation of all the employees of implementing the innovation process positively. It is because it was completely up to them how they could store all the data and implement the best process for the innovation within the organization (Bolden, 2016). I knew that many things were at stake but I still took the chance. However, I knew that communication between the employees was the most important thing for the success of my plan. I noticed the communication within the organization is not at all proper and the employees do not have the proper respect for the higher authority managers. On the other hand, the important information is not at all spread among the employees on important occasions. I felt this had been a major setback for the organization (Tohidi & Jabbari, 2012).

Another reason for the failure towards the innovation was the proper training of the employees and their proper knowledge about the products and the services of the organization (Bârg?u, 2015). In this context, I felt that the lack of communication among the employees had really resulted in the negative ways for the company. The company was facing the risk of the customer shifting because the customers were not being satisfied with the products and services being provided to them. (Denti & Hemlin, 2012).This is where the training was needed properly. The understanding of the consumer behavior is something that is highly important. If the employees do not understand the desires of the customers properly they will never be able to provide the best products and services to the customers. I have felt the same problem. This has led to the failure of innovation process that I had wanted to implement. The communication problems also gave me the hick ups at the end as well (Drucker, 2014).

Solutions

Now It was the time for resolving the issues properly for the future success of the organization. My first attempt was to gain the competitive advantage for the company that could only be achieved through the innovation process. Somehow I had to come back from the losses that the company had endured. This is why I made some plan of how I could get over the conditions in an effective manner. First of all I had to accept the failures that I had endured within the course of my planning and implementation. Then I would have to be very much cautious about making the proper plans for the communication among the employees (Edquist, 2013). The proper communication among the employees would surely yield the good results for the success of the organizations.

I had talk with all the employees within my department and take their opinions about why the things had gone wrong. Most of the employees told me that they did not have the time to communicate with each other and talk about the innovative ideas within their minds. This is why I stressed on building the team work among them. I gave them the freedom to talk about the several creative and innovative ideas. This is how they could cope up with the several challenges (Edquist, 2013). Apart from that I also wanted to focus on the proper understanding of the desires of the customers in the best ways. This would surely improve the business profits in the best ways. After that I would have to make my proper arrangements for the training facilities. These training facilities will benefit the employees in the best ways and their work skills will increase. I will let the employees implement their innovative ideas and open up their minds in the meetings with the higher authorities. In this manner I think the proper solutions could come for the challenges that were being faced in the real life scenario.

Conclusion

As the main points have been discussed in the above sections, the conclusion can be drawn in this one. The proper solutions will have to be implemented for the betterment of the conditions within the organization. However, it will indeed be very important for me to improve the communication process within the organization. Thus I will have to make the proper arrangements of the formal training on assessing the consumer needs in the best ways. I will also have to implement the opportunities I have in front of me so I can make the best utilizations out of it. On the other hand, I will have to make the employees understand that the innovation process cannot be utilized without their positive contribution. This is how I would go on to make my innovative strategies implemented successfully to gain the competitive advantage.
