Part B – Modeling and Diagramming

Answer the following question with reference to the information stated in the case study and review the ABC case study.

Scope should not be extended for any of the following solutions. Case study above should be specifically described.

You are free to make assumptions where necessary and have to be noted.

It is advised that you go through all documentation for this case study before coming up to any final solution. Make sure that the required pace has been included within and between the solution of each question.

Question3 :Use Case Modelling

Go through the ABC case study and create an (event table) for the information system which supports the business proceeding as described. Use the minimum following headings for the Event Table:

Event

Event type

Trigger

Source

Activity/Use Case

System Response/output

Destination

Use Case Diagram (10 marks)

Review the ABC case study and event table solution that you have created for question 3a above to prepare a Use Case Diagram for the supporting information system.

Your solution have to follow the methodology as outlined within the satzinger et al (2016) textbook.

Use Case Description (5 marks)

A dully developed Use Case description should be prepared for the ‘Create Online Account’ use case, as documented in the event table solution and the use of diagram solution.

Your solution have to follow the methodology as outlined within the satzinger et al (2016) textbook.

Question 4: Domain Modelling

Domain Model Class Diagram (20 marks)

Review the ABC case study to create a domain model class diagram which supports information system.

Your solutionhaveto follow the methodology as outlined within thesatzingeret al textbook. Solutionareexpected to show:

1. The class name and attributes list for each class and sub class as required.
2. All required associations.
3. Reflect all the attributes as specifically shown in the case study.

5. Methods are not necessary to show, however if you wish you can include them. Solutions are anticipated to be aligned with the components.

Design Class Diagram (5 marks)

Only create a design class diagram for the Clients and School classes. These two classes have to be the part of the domain model class diagram for the previous question solution.

Each design class diagram should have a list of complete attributes and a comprehensive method list which helps the specific function described in the case study.

Your solution have to follow the methodology as outlined within the satzinger et al textbook. Solutions are anticipated to balance with the ingredients for the ‘Design class diagram’.
